Three Rivers Trail and the Pompton River
Saturday, May 26, 2018
15 members enjoyed summer weather paddling the Three Rivers Trail in the morning. We set what must be a club record time for the car shuttle - 15 minutes, round trip. After lunch about half the group then went on to Lincoln Park to paddle upstream on the Pompton River and back. Water levels and flows were well up - a pond along the Pompton that is usually behind a 6 foot high dam was only about 1 foot above river level. The award for completing both paddles - Manfred's Rum Cake!
