We had 18 members in 16 boats (9 canoes and 7 kayaks) on a beautiful but cool, late spring day. The water level was decent: 470 cfs combining the W. Br. Farmington gauge at Riverton with the Still River gauge. There were a couple of spills here and there but all resulted in nice recoveries. There were Great Blue Herons, Belted Kingfishers, lots and lots of Common Mergansers, Kingbirds and many Yellow Warblers and American Redstarts were heard.
A very nice day and some very good local pizza for those that stayed around.
