Other paddlers included Herta Dusebout, Monica Orso, Cory Wong, Barbara Benary, Stefan Gutermuth, Mike Kula and his grandson , Robin Lowenthal, Phil Brown, Debbie and Tom Colby.

The water was quite rough for the voyage to the Round Valley primitive campsites on Friday morning. This made paddling quite challenging (about the most challenging I've seen in summers at Round Valley). I especially enjoyed take photos of the blue heron who didn't seem to mind that we were paddling quite close to the shore where he was standing. On Friday night, Barbara and Mike provided us with some great musical entertainment and a sing along. Early Saturday evening the weather report caused most of the group to head for home in the late afternoon. But Sunday morning proved that it was worth staying over night since it turned out that Sunday only brought an hour of mild drizzle. This little bit of rain was then followed by a sunny paddle with some manageable waves to give a fun challenge while paddling back to the parking area.
