11 members and one guest with 10 Kayaks and 2 canoes met at the Double Trouble State Park HQ before going on the Ore Pond put in. The scene at the put-in was somewhat chaotic, with two other groups, and several other paddlers vying for space and two vans with trailers trying to come in and one leave while we were unloading, so we moved our vehicles out as quickly as possible and re-grouped back at park HQ before shuttling cars to the take-out.

We got on the water about 11:30 with perfect weather and good flow on the creek. Catching up with a group at the dam portage meant some delay there, but then a pleasant paddle on to our lunch spot at the beach by a former railroad bridge just before the parkway.

We took another break at the Western Blvd. bridge before going on to the Dudley Park takeout. Nine of us then had a pleasant dinner on the patio at the "Shady Rest" before hitting the road north again.

Many thanks everyone who helped out along the way, especially Robyn for leading the way for us, and Jim Lyon for paddling "sweep", standing at the base of the dam helping everyone re-board, and getting a few of us out of minor hang-ups.
